Jacques and his family’s food forest
Jacques is the passionate keeper of a space full of potential, currently being transformed. It’s becoming a flourishing refuge — welcoming and instructive for his whole family.
Semisto designed a layout built around a central “heart of abundance” for the most fragile fruit trees, on a north-facing slope and a very acidic, free-draining soil that called for strategies to rebalance it.
This food forest is a space that not only enriches biodiversity but also becomes a place to pass things on and share with generations to come.
