Two ways to give — and one comes with a tax break
Anyone, anywhere, can support Semisto financially — donations are welcome from donors of any nationality or country of residence. Semisto holds a Fonds des Amis de Semisto (“Semisto Friends Fund”), hosted by the King Baudouin Foundation (Fondation Roi Baudouin), a well-established Belgian public-interest foundation. You donate to the Foundation, which channels the funds to Semisto.
Important for Belgian taxpayers: if your tax residence is in Belgium, this route also gives you a tax deduction — donations of €40/year or more to the Foundation get 30% back on the amount actually paid (art. 145/33 of the Belgian income tax code, CIR).

Concretely, for a Belgian taxpayer: a €100 donation really only costs you €70. Only donors whose tax residence is in Belgium receive a tax certificate — if you’re donating from outside Belgium, your gift is just as welcome and just as impactful, simply without that specific tax benefit.
